Develop Solutions Kingston USB 3.0 Flash Drive Kingston memory Memory manufacturer Kingston reveal their roadmap for 2011 is in the event the Consumer Electronic Show (CES). Kingston will develop a USB 3.0 flash drive solution that is comprehensive, to meet the needs of users from various walks of life.
“Along with the development of USB 3.0, the number of platforms and computers that support USB 3.0, we realized the need to develop a variety of solutions for a variety of target markets and help drive the acceptance of this kind on the market,” said Nathan Su, Flash Memory Sales Director, APAC Region, Kingston.
With many new PC using USB 3.0 in 2011, especially in the range of second and third quarter, Kingston will also launch a Flash drive entry-level to ‘accompany’ the computer.
Flash drives will be aimed at general consumers by offering lower capacity as well as more affordable prices again. The goal, to further popularize the use of USB 3.0 among ordinary users.
In September 2010, Kingston Data Traveler also launched the Ultimate 3.0 (DTU30). This is the first USB 3.0 flash drive that uses a SATA bridge chip to obtain high data transfer speeds.
Along with the availability of single-chip controller, Kingston will soon launch the second generation of DTU30, available in capacities of 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. Single-chip USB 3.0 controller enables compatibility of a better and higher speed.
For enthusiasts and power users, will launch a drive Kingston USB 3.0 . DataTraveler HyperX 3.0 will be the flagship model and part from the ranks HyperXperience, a Kingston product family of high-performance flash that will consist of SSD, USB and card, to supplement the HyperX memory modules.
